How much data will I use when streaming Rogers NHL LIVE™ and GamePlus™ to my smartphone/tablet?
About 1GB per game if you’re streaming Rogers NHL LIVE™ and GamePlus™ to a smartphone or approximately 2 to 5GB per game if you’re streaming to a tablet, computer, gaming console or TV. This also applies to classic games, or games of lesser picture quality (games not in HD). This is an estimate, and actual usage varies based on the length of the game, stream quality, the amount of features are used by each user, the device you’re using and other factors. Data usage exceeding your plan allotment (overage) is charged in increments, rounded up to the next MB or GB (as applicable based on your plan). Standard roaming charges apply when not on the Rogers wireless network. When fans want to stream a whole game we recommend they connect over Wi-Fi, and our LTE network is also available for those times when they want to catch part of a game or highlight while on the go. They never have to miss a play or goal! Back to Top >
